iOS — in development

Know where your people are, and how they're driving.

RADR Navigation combines turn-by-turn GPS navigation, live family and crew location, and community hazard alerts in one app — with driver safety measured against the actual posted speed limit of the road you're on.

Free tier at launch. No credit card.

RADR Navigation app on iPhone showing a live map with crew member locations, current speed, posted speed limit, and a People list showing where each person is.
What's different

Speeding measured against the actual limit

Other driver-monitoring apps alert above a fixed number. That number is meaningless — 80 km/h on a highway is normal, 80 in a school zone is not.

Typical alert

"Speed alert: 81 km/h"

No context. Most people learn to ignore these within a week.

RADR alert

"81 in a 50 zone — Boul de la Gare, held 3 minutes"

Posted limit read per road segment. Severity graded, so 6 over and 30 over are different alerts.

Posted limits

Per road segment, from OpenStreetMap, refreshed as you drive.

Phone use

Screen time while the vehicle is moving.

Hard braking

Accelerometer-based, normalised per mile.

Night driving

Time driven 11pm–5am, when crash rates peak.

Live traffic, voice guidance, and full CarPlay support.

Live crew location

Plain language — "at Home", "Near 5th Ave", or driving at 78 km/h.

Community hazards

Police, accidents, construction and closures, reported and confirmed by drivers.

Crash detection

Detects a collision and alerts your crew with your location.

Family controls

The owner sets who's monitored, alert thresholds and curfew hours.

FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from Life360?

Life360 tracks location. RADR does that plus full turn-by-turn navigation, and measures speeding against real posted limits rather than a fixed threshold.

How is it different from Waze?

Waze navigates and reports hazards but has no family location sharing or driver safety scoring. RADR does both.

Does it drain my battery?

GPS accuracy scales to what you're doing — full precision while navigating, low power while parked.

Is my location private?

Location is shared only with crews you join. Monitored family members are always told they're monitored.

Does it work on Android?

Not yet. iOS first, Android planned.

Does it support CarPlay?

Yes — map, crew, saved places, hazard reporting and settings.
